In good form when last seen back in the autumn. Trip, class and ground are fine although there are probably better treated opponents with a fitness advantage.
Won a bumper and a hurdle for Willie Mullins but off since failing to make his mark in handicaps and over fences in late 2017. Outside claim on best form and likely this will be needed.
Had a good summer on the Flat in 2017 and landed a valuable prize at Leicester over hurdles in November. Conditions would have been too soft last time, but looks a strong contender here if the weather remains dry.
Lightly raced since a Limerick success two years ago. Conditions have been too soft in his subsequent races and, although more favourable here, he is still too high in the weights.
Strong claims on his summer hurdling form of 2016 but an absence since then is a concern. Best watched on debut for new yard.
Strung together a few consistent efforts in maiden hurdles last summer. Off since October and new mark asks some serious questions.
3-14 record over hurdles but has not run over these obstacles since October 2016. Not at his best around his beloved Dundalk recently so best avoided for now.
Weak in the market before failing to make an impact on handicap debut 19 days ago. Looks well enough treated on his novice form and the market should be informative again.
Well enough treated on his old hurdling form, but he has been absent since showing fair form over fences a year ago.
Has improved since going handicapping this season with wins at Naas and Fairyhouse both over 2m. Ran well enough at latter track when fifth behind Western Ruler and his trainer has always thought he would do better on quicker ground.
Scored at Limerick over 2m last time when forced to adopt different tactics. Said to be better at this trip and a 7lb rise does not rule him out.
Has been shaping well over fences lately. Previous hurdling form was not as good and his best efforts have come on slower ground than forecast.
Running well despite advancing years and a mark 6lb higher than when last successful. Had a hard race four days ago and this will be his third appearance of the month.
Lost his way towards the end of 2017 and there have been few signs lately that he is on the way back.
Enjoys a big pull with Trump Sixteen on Limerick running and he will be appreciate the return to this trip and quicker ground. Last two victories have come during the month of May.
Completed a hat-trick two years ago and best run since came when dropped closer to his last winning mark than is the case here.
Winner of five Flat races between 5f-7f. Has shown little so far over hurdles and this longer trip looks beyond him.
