Clear pick of these over hurdles and his second to Lady Buttons last time is head and shoulders above anything his modest rivals can hope to achieve. A trouble free round ought to be enough.

Rated 60lb inferior to Bollin Ace and hard to see him being a threat to most of his other rivals too.

Won a point-to-point at the seventh attempt last March. That form looks way below the capabilities of Bollin Ace, but he will be fitter for a recent run at Doncaster and he may do better at this trip. May be of interest to forecast backers.

Soon in trouble here last time and another wide margin defeat seems likely. Something drastic would have to happen for him to win this.

Effective from 2m-2m4f over hurdles and handles any going. Makes chasing debut in receipt of an allowance which gives her place claims if taking to the larger obstacles.

Poor form under both codes and seems to have lost her way just now. Others hold much more convincing claims.

Verdict

BOLLIN ACE may be a Sedgefield specialist but an official rating of 129 gives him plenty of hand over these rivals. He has valuable chasing experience and is rated 11lb superior to Hope's Wishes who is yet to jump a fence in public. Native Gamut is a winning point-to-pointer who is dropped in trip having faded in good company over 3m on his first run of the campaign.
