Gelding by Getaway out of an unraced dam. Yard's runners in this sphere invariably command respect and positive market vibes would make him of obvious interest.
Out of a bumper-winning dam who was a sister to the classy hurdler-chase Whisper but didn't look anything special when well beaten on his debut at Carlisle. Yard don't excel in this sphere.
From a solid jumps family but unfancied for his debut at Newbury in November and finished last of 16, finishing completely tailed off. Hard to make a case for on that evidence.
Full-brother to two point-to-point winners and, though unfancied for his debut at Plumpton, he shaped with promise by keeping on for third. Should improve, place prospects once again.
Made a winning point-to-point debut and changed hands for £40,000 subsequently. Slightly underwhelming debut when a 7L third of seven behind Kingsplace on heavy ground at Warwick last month but should come on for that.
Cost €25,000 as a three-year-old being a half-brother to the fairly useful hurdler Kellys Brow and bumper winner/fair hurdler Celldomfed. Yard do have winners in this sphere so any market moves should be noted.
Promising effort when going desperately close in the mud at Chepstow first time out and by no means disgraced when beaten under 10L in a Listed event at Ascot since. Sets the standard, obvious claims with a tongue-tie introduced.
Out of an unraced dam and doesn't catch the eye on paper, having changed hands for under €3,000 as a three-year-old. Yard not renowned for winners in this sphere.
Out of a dam who won on the Flat and is a half-sister to the fair staying hurdler Arctic Watch. Yard's winners in this sphere are few and far between, so others more persuasive.
By Black Sam Bellamy out of a dam who is a half-sister to the smart staying chaser Bob Bob Bobbin. Cost £30,000 so enough to like on paper, though yard don't tend to excel in these races.
Cost €20,000 and was sent off joint-favourite for his debut over 1m6f at Newcastle (soft) last month, offering something to work on by finishing third behind Star of Lanka. No surprise if in the mix.
Forecasts
West To The Bridge (6/5), He's A Goer (5/1), Arthur Mac (6/1), Pemberley (7/1), Coastal Drift (10/1), Mr Washington (14/1), Dublin Indemnity (16/1), Glentrool (25/1), Last Watch (66/1), Field Master (66/1), Amlovi (100/1)
Probably not the strongest of bumpers and, unless there was serious market support for one of the newcomers, it's hard to look beyond WEST TO THE BRIDGE who sets a decent standard having featured prominently in an Ascot Listed event last time. Of the first-timers, it's Arthur Mac and Pemberley who look most interesting, whilst there should be more to come from Glentrool and He's a Goer.
- West To The Bridge
- Arthur Mac
- Glentrool
