Winner of an Irish point-to-point in June on his third start he now starts out life for this yard. Worth watching in the betting although for a fairly big yard they don't have the greatest strike-rate in bumpers.

Showed ability on his sole run so far in this sphere but did fail to settle early and that told in the end. Now hooded for the first time and may know more this time around.
Cost €11,000 earlier this year and half-brother to three reasonable jumps winners (one a bumper winner). Stable has a near 20% strike-rate in bumpers over the last five years so he's worthy of respect here.
Yard in good form at the moment and can generally be expected to make their mark in this sphere. Plenty of decent winners in the pedigree especially on the dams side and one of the leading players in this.

Very little to work with on the basis of the debut run in bumpers giving very little encouragement for the future. Finished tailed off and passed over here.
Scored a clear cut win in an Irish point-to-point in April and now joins a yard with a decent record in bumpers (3/10 this season). Has some smart relations in his pedigree and dam is from family of high-class chaser The Listener.

Second runner from this stable in this but she makes little appeal either on her debut for a yard that are 0/19 in bumpers in last five seasons.
Stable has a poor record in bumpers and this one makes little appeal on pedigree with only a few minor winners in her family.
Hard to fancy on her limited point-to-point form (unseated rider at third on debut). First bumper winner of the season for the yard which has a modest record in this sphere.

Yard have only had one bumper winner in five years and she makes very little appeal given her debut where she started at 33/1 and offered little although she was green and inexperienced.

Forecasts

Cydercourt (11/10), Cathal's Star (9/2), Ask The Tycoon (5/1), The Great Getaway (5/1), Calach (9/1), Ciarabella (28/1), Syringa Power (33/1), The Dawn Bandit (40/1), Quasha (50/1), Mr Sandgate (66/1)

Verdict

It looks like the boys hold sway in this closing bumper with some decent stable represented although there isn’t that much to go. Best of those to have run is Calach but he’ll need to show that he can settle better to be of interest in this. Ask The Tycoon could take a hand but the yard doesn’t have a great strike-rate and Cathal’s Star and Cydercourt are from yards that usually have their bumper debutantes ready to go. With the Don McCain yard in good form though a chance is taken with THE GREAT GETAWAY who showed up well in Irish point-to-points and has a good pedigree.
  1. The Great Getaway
  2. Cydercourt
  3. Cathal's Star
