Won over C&D in March, but was well held over further on his last visit to this track. Runs off the same mark and will need to return to his earlier level of form if he is to defy joint top weight.
Runner-up on a couple of occasions when last seen in April and returns after a break off 1lb lower. Has to be considered, but is 0-18 over fences which tempers enthusiasm.
Running consistently well and might have won at Southwell last time had he not been slow at the final fence. Up 5lb, but remains one of the more likely winners.
Maiden over hurdles who tries his hand at chasing for the first time. He was placed three times in Irish point-to-points, so jumping should not be an issue.
Won twice over hurdles in April, but was disappointing when returning from a break at Worcester last month. Tries his luck over fences and the market will probably be the best quide to his chances.
Won two point-to-points in Ireland, but displays over hurdles have been poor and she has pulled up twice. May do better over fences, but runs from 18lb out of the handicap and is best watched.

Barney From Tyanee (7/4), Saffron Prince (3/1), Crafty Roberto (4/1), Dark Mahler (4/1), Flashman (5/1), Glimpse Of Gold (7/1), Lady Jameson (40/1)
Saffron Prince has the best recent form to his name and is a strong contender, but a weight rise for losing last time is slightly offputting. Flashman would have a chance on his C&D win in March and cases can be made for Barney From Tyanee and Glimpse Of Gold, but DARK MAHLER could be the one. He showed distinct promise in his only point-to-point, has hinted at ability over hurdles and could find fences much more suitable.
