Yet to really convince over fences, returned from 398 days off with fair effort at Stratford when third of eight (beaten 13¾L) last month over 2m3f. Drops in trip here and needs to progress from that effort significantly.
No win in eight so far over fences but close second in four-runner C&D novice handicap late last month, that was a solid effort and certainly places him in the mix for this.
Two wins from four over fences thus far (alongside two flops) and won on debut for thus trainer at Worcester over his trip at the start of the month in effortless fashion. Second since over hurdles and handicapper has now had a big say.
Now a 24-race maiden, 14 of those runs coming over fences. Was very poor in pair of hurdles outings last month and while he has run with credit in the past over these obstacles, the first-time blinkers will need to produce a spark.
Second of six over C&D in June, never threatening the winner, but two poor runs here since over hurdles have done little for confidence. On a fair mark on first start for new trainer, but she must bounce back.
Five-time chase winner but is rapidly approaching his teens now and nine runs this year have not offered much encouragement, hard to place confidence in.

Forecasts
Get Ready Freddy (5/2), Third Act (5/2), Triggywinkle (9/2), Bonobo (9/2), No No Cardinal (13/2), Accessallareas (8/1), Changing The Guard (8/1), Money For Nothing (18/1)
This appears to revolve around Get Ready Freddy, who has two wins from four over these obstacles and scored with consummate ease at Worcester on debut for this yard on the first of the month. He's thrown in the towel in his other two chase starts and having taken a big hit from the handicapper here, looks opposable at the likely prices. June C&D winner No No Cardinal cannot be ruled out, though has flopped back here since, while Third Act ran well here in a novice chase recently and could offer more. CHANGING THE GUARD did well to finish second from a poor position over C&D last month and could go one better now if able to challenge from a better position in the closing stages off the same mark.
