Three times a winner last spring but had just two starts since finishing runner-up at Ascot over 1m4f in July. Races off a mark 11lb higher than for his latest success but interesting on his seasonal debut.
Useful on his day and successful over 1m4f on the AW at Lingfield in February. Beaten 4L off this 3lb higher mark at Windsor (good) over 1m on his first run since and this trip looks more suitable.
Impressive winner of a maiden at the sixth time of asking over 1m2f at Nottingham (heavy) earlier this month. Ground conditions likely to be much quicker today and interesting to see how he fares on handicap debut.
Had just two starts so far finishing runner-up on debut prior to going one better on the AW at Newcastle over 1m2f last October. Making his seasonal, handicap and turf debuts in this.
Successful three times in Italy but disappointing since joining this yard earlier this year. Handicap mark is falling as a result and worth a check in the market here.
Off the mark over this trip at Ripon (good) in April but a beaten odds-on favourite next time out and well held at Newmarket in a valuable contest subsequently. Wears cheekpieces for the first time today.
Victorious three times since being gelded and chasing a hat-trick here following two victories at Haydock. Wore a hood (retained) on each occasion and likely to have ground conditions to suit off a mark 6lb higher than for his latest success.
Maiden winner at Brighton (good-to-firm) over this trip on his penultimate outing and ran a decent race when runner-up in a handicap over this trip at Doncaster (good) subsequently. Has to defy a further 3lb rise here.
Forecasts
Another Eclipse (2/1), Mafaaheem (11/4), Laqab (9/2), Daawy (11/2), Teodoro (8/1), Shabbah (16/1), Afonso De Sousa (33/1), Vettori Rules (50/1)
TEODORO can complete his hat-trick in this 1m2f handicap. The selection has won three times on good-to-firm ground this season and with ground conditions forecast to be similar here he can defy a 6lb rise for last months Haydock success. Handicap debutant Laqab returns from a long lay-off here and can chase the selection home ahead of Mafaaheem who broke his maiden in impressive fashion on heavy ground last time.
