No win since bumper debut in 2015, and although he frequently races in better grade than today's, looks short of pace whatever trip he runs at. Drop to selling company may help, and yard like a tilt at the ring, so watch the market.
Just three wins in 61 starts tells it's own story, although he often travels well in his races before finding little for pressure. Repeat of his fifth over C&D from April would give him a chance, but poor since then and hard to know what to expect.
Does at least come here with a recent win under his belt, that being at Plumpton in April (quick ground) but disappointing when made favourite to follow up there in May and an early unseat last time hardly helps his cause. Plenty to prove now.
Only three wins in 46 starts, first run for new yard tonight (3-23 past year first time up with others horses) but this trip worth another try based on a few of his recent efforts. Yard like a punt in these races so market support should be heeded.
Not the most consistent but useful when it all clicks, and did win a similar contest at Exeter in April. Trip and ground both fine, but handicapper slow to relent after a couple of moderate efforts. Not totally discounted, but needs to refind best form.
There's a couple of efforts on his card that give him a chance here, including last time out when a close enough third to King Muro at Uttoxeter, but finds little off the bridle. First time headgear here may help, but still a risky proposition.
Well handicapped on the best of his form, but gave up pretty quickly once headed at Stratford last time and the change of headgear needs to work the oracle. Not out of it if it does, but comes with risks despite conditions being fine here.
Well into the veteran stage now, and no win on the board since 2015, but more consistent than a few here and with both trip and ground fine, more likely to run his race and hit the places again.
Is at least open to improvement after just the ten starts, but looks hard work at times and a variety of headgear already tried. Best effort on softer ground too, so plenty to prove here.

Forecasts
On Alberts Head (11/4), Aaman (10/3), Taste The Wine (5/1), Star Trouper (5/1), Midnight Queen (5/1), Mount Vesuvius (9/1), Bobby Dove (10/1), Needless Shouting (11/1), Atlantic King (11/1), Romeo Americo (12/1), Ice Konig (14/1)
It's no understatement to say this is a race that needs treating with plenty of caution, and the market will give some big clues as to the chances of the likes of Needless Shouting, Star Trouper and despite a huge absence, Bobby Dove. At this stage, AAMAN makes the most appeal of a field that find winning hard. This trip and ground should be fine and the jockey booking looks significant. Taste The Wine rarely wins but looks the best option for placepots.
