Did not run as a juvenile, but showed plenty of promise at three, winning a handicap over C&D and being placed twice. Reappearance second at Ayr earlier this month - his first outing since being gelded - showed he is least as good as ever so his chance off the same mark is obvious.
Has a decent strike rate on turf and showed he was in good heart when winning decisively at Catterick last time. He is up 4lb for that and has more to do, but is sure to run well for his leading connections.
Lightly-raced 3yo who did well to beat a well-fancied rival over C&D last time. Has been raised 6lb for that success, but looks progressive and will surely make a bold bid to repeat last time's all-the-way success on a track which suits frontrunners.
Won on the AW three starts ago, but is effective on turf, too, as he showed when winning a competitive Sandown handicap last summer. Only 2lb higher and is slightly better off at the weights with Glengarry on their recent Ayr running.
Has won nine times on turf, including over C&D. He won a Pontefract handicap off 1lb higher last August, but has not been in anything like that sort of form recently.
Won a Ripon maiden as a juvenile, but that remains her only success in nine starts. Has not been at her best lately, but would pose a big threat if returning to the form which saw her finished second off this mark at Doncaster last September. Looks her stable's second string on jockey bookings.
Forecasts
Thomas Cranmer (6/4), Glengarry (7/2), Chaplin Bay (11/2), Luis Vaz De Torres (6/1), Storm Cry (7/1), Ralphy Boy (14/1)
A tight handicap in which a case can be made for all six runners. Stable companions THOMAS CRANMER and Storm Cry are likely to be prominent and the former is preferred after his C&D success last time. Top weight Glengarry is likely to improve for his promising reappearance run, while Luis Vaz De Torres hit form last time and has to enter the equation.
