Not seen for nine months since fair novice chasing debut at Worcester in July. Connections may have been waiting for decent ground. Wears hood for first time and interesting to see how he fares under top weight.
Won Newbury novice hurdle in March 2016 put patchy form over timber since then. Got no further than the first fence on chasing bow at Uttoxeter last month. Not ruled out, but needs to put in a clear round.
Won French bumper and landed Wetherby novice hurdle for current yard in February 2016. Consistent without winning since in handicap hurdles and is an interesting contender here on chasing bow for top yard.
Won Wincanton bumper on debut in 2015. Very lightly raced since and clearly has had issues, but shaped with promise when fourth on hurdles bow at Kempton in fair race in March. Unexposed and a potential improver now over larger obstacles.
Won Perth handicap hurdle last September for David Pipe but struggled in similar event with handicapper not relenting. Joined current yard last month and ran a satisfactory race, but may need to drop a few pounds before getting really competitive.
Won Huntingdon handicap hurdle last season and ran well when fifth in better race at Cheltenham in November. A little disappointing since then but may do better now going chasing. Worth keeping an eye on in the betting.
Won twice on Flat in Ireland but yet to get his head in front over timber in Britain although went very close at Haydock in January. first try over fences and is at the right end of the weights.
Forecasts
Cobra De Mai (2/1), See The World (3/1), Tiger Trek (5/1), Mango Cap (5/1), Sarpech (10/1), Bingo D'Olivate (14/1), Vocaliser (16/1)
It seems fair to assume that SEE THE WORLD has been difficult to train, but the signs were there that he still possesses ability last time and he could do better now sent over fences. In a trappy event, Cobra De Mai and Tiger Trek should be there or thereabouts, and Sarpech is another who could well run a decent race.
