Application of first-time headgear worked the trick when down class after several placed efforts. Career best needed now at Listed level but handicap mark doesn't look overly harsh and he should remain competitive.
Best efforts have come on better ground and he disappointed as a short-priced favourite here when last seen. Looks better suited by sharper tracks and first-time tongue-tie needs to be the answer if he's to get his head in front here.
Responded well in first-time cheekpieces, winning at Leicester and looks to be going the right way after his Ffos Las effort last time out but he did idle badly on the run in that day. Won't be able to get away with such antics against smarter rivals but he is on an attractive mark after being left alone by the handicapper.
Inconsistent sort who won at Chepstow in December before finishing tailed off over the same C&D later that month. Fell at the first last time and it's not the first time he's made jumping errors so not one to go overboard with.
Three wins from his last five starts. Helped by the fall of the odds-on favourite when winning by a large margin at Taunton at the end of last year but proved it was no fluke by following up at that course last time. Yard not been in the best form recently but he's an interesting contender provided his jumping holds up in a classier affair.
Has raced in some classy affairs but fact remains he's not won since winning a handicap off 110 in 2015 and still rated 11lb higher than that despite not finishing placed in the past 12 months. Questionable stamina adds to list of negatives and he's passed over for now.

Vinnie Red (7/4), Dueling Banjos (7/2), Dig Deeper (7/2), Wild West Wind (7/2), Sykes (7/1), Bells Of Ailsworth (10/1), Chic Name (12/1)
DUELING BANJOS doesn't look like the easiest customer to handle but he looks like the one on a lenient mark and he's taken to score in hope of his temperament holding up. Dip Deeper is another who has benefited from the addition of cheekpieces and he should remain competitive off his new mark while Bells of Ailsworth has the winning habit and it's possible he's still on an upward curve.
