Notched a four-timer over hurdles between February 2016 and November 2016 before the winning run came to an end behind the gambled on Cabragh on his chasing debut over the extended 3m2f at this track in December. Doesn't appear a natural over the larger obstacles, but handles testing ground extremely well as shown when winning over a slightly shorter trip last time at Lingfield, and is entitled to still be learning the ropes over fences (fourth start today).
Ran well over fences prior to Christmas at Bangor when chasing home Twenty Eight Guns, but has been struggling from an early stage on each of his two subsequent starts, including when pulled up behind On The Road at Lingfield last month. It seems as though a confidence booster is required, and this small field event could be helpful.
Ex winning Irish point-to-pointer, who also scored over hurdles (maiden) in deep ground here in December 2015. His long term future always looked to be over fences, but he hasn't been seen out since finishing third on his sole start under rules over the larger obstacles at Market Rasen in May 2016. Likely to handle the forecast rain, but conceivably could be found out for fitness.

Forecasts
On The Road (5/6), Whitsundays (2/1), Make Me A Fortune (4/1), Coole Charmer (9/2), Bank Bonus (5/1)
Whitsundays is probably the most interesting of this quintet for the future, but the suspicion remains that he might need this return to the track before being a shade sharper next time. Therefore, the vote goes to Lingfield winner ON THE ROAD who is slowly learning the ropes over fences and appears certain to be suited by any rain which falls overnight (with Sedgefield stating that upto 20mm is possible).
1. On The Road
2. Make Me A Fortune
3. Whitsundays
