Neck second off a similar mark at Wolverhampton in November (& won off 71 at Bath in September), and bounced back from a moderate effort when finishing fourth to a progressive rival (third won since) at Wolverhampton latest. Step back to 6f will suit.
Struck into when disappointing last time on handicap debut, but looked a horse of some potential when winning here (green) over further previously. No surprise to see her bounce back.
Placed on two of his last three starts in maidens at Southwell (5 & 7f), including behind Nuzha (ran at Southwell yesterday). Makes handicap debut off a mark of 70 on first run on tapeta.
Six furlong Chelmsford nursery winner in October off a 6lb lower mark, but unable to follow up when turned out under a penalty over shorter a week later. Paid the price for setting a strong pace at Lingfield last time and wouldn't want to repeat that trick at this track despite dropping in trip.
Nothing to write home about in three starts in maidens, and whilst fourth on handicap debut at Kempton in late October, this contest is a grade higher.
Unconvincing profile and his best effort perhaps came in a seller at Leicester in July. Always behind and last on return from a brief break at Southwell last week and this is much tougher.
Forecasts
Golden Opportunity (5/2), Ninety Years Young (5/2), Marquee Club (3/1), Killermont Street (11/2), Skellig Michael (9/1), Elements Legacy (25/1)
Having been most taken by the success of KILLERMONT STREET here in mid November, it was most disappointing to see her fold quickly on handicap debut last month. However, she has excuses (was struck into) and is worth a second chance with bundles of improvement in her visually when racing green here the time before. Marquee Club is the obvious danger despite shouldering top-weight and looked to be crying out for a return to this trip last time out at Wolverhampton.
1. Killermont Street
2. Marquee Club
3. Golden Opportunity
