Willie Mullins Column featuring Allaho, Saint Roi and Concertista

Five Monday winners for our star columnist and his Tuesday teams includes Saint Roi in the Matheson Hurdle. Check out the horse-by-horse guide.

Tuesday runners

12.30 Limerick - El Dite

She’s been disappointing to follow and we’re putting first-time cheekpieces on her on Tuesday. A mares’ chase and heavy ground both suit her but I’d be a little worried the trip is on the short side but conditions will be so tough that might be a help.

12:40 Leopardstown – Stattler & Glens Of Antrim

Stattler is a fine big horse who will love the trip, track and ground. I think he could go close. Glens Of Antrim was fourth at Punchestown last time and I think she’ll improve for that. She might have too much ground to make up but has each-way prospects.

13:15 Leopardstown - Buildmeupbuttercup

The trip is the question mark for her and it will be tough going out there. David will be riding her to get the trip into what is sure to be a truly-run race. If she can get some Black Type again we’ll be happy.

13:15 Leopardsotwn - Concertista

She’s probably our number one here. She’s not well in with Black Tears on official ratings here but will improve again and the trip will be fine for her. She’s a fine, big mare and I’m hoping she’ll be hard to beat.

13:15 Leopardstown My Sister Sarah

She has a chance on the ratings here, the conditions of the race suit her, and she’d be another with each-way prospects.

13:40 Limerick - Galopin Des Champs

He finished second on his first start for us at Gowran and has a chance here on that form. It could be a good day for Danny who goes to Limerick to ride both of our runners.

13:50 Leopardstown - Monkfish

He was very impressive at Fairyhouse on his chasing debut and I’m hoping he can keep his game together as he takes a big step up in class here. He must have a good chance.

14:25 Leopardstown - Saint Roi

I’m looking forward to running him. Things didn’t go right for him in the Morgiana last time and if he can get the tactics right on Monday I think he goes there with a real good chance. He’s improved since the last run.

14:25 Leopardstown – Sharjah

He’s won this race for the last two years and was second to Epatante in the Champion Hurdle. His form around here is very good, Patrick gets on very well with him and he must be involved in the business end of this on all-known form.

14.25 Leopardstown – Saldier

He’s coming back from a long break off. His best form gives him a chance bit after such a lengthy spell off I’d be inclined to watch him and see how he might progress for the future.

15:35 Leopardstown - Eurotiep

He won under Aubrey McMahon at Punchestown, doing it the hard way from the front. It wouldn’t be a problem for him if he had to jump out and do the same thing again if needs be.
