Followers of our flagship racing tipster Ben Linfoot enjoyed a good week as the Value Bet column knocked in a 16/1 winner at York on Friday.

The Dante Festival on the Knavesmire is one of the most competitive meetings on the Flat programme but Ben delivered the goods in identifying David Evans' outsider as a promising filly to follow.

Oli Bell's Best Bets column also produced a positive return at York with the ITV Racing man following up last weekend's profit with a great week at York.

Bell struck with Corgi (12/1) and Wentworth Falls (14/1) both placing at big prices and Invincible Army winning the Duke of York having been put up as a rock-solid 9/4 chance.

Five-star punting

There were some seriously impressive winners elsewhere with Sky Bet reporting an Alan, from Southampton, landing all five winners in a speculative 50p Luck31 wager.

On Friday evening, Paul from Edinburgh won over £5,400 with four winners out of four on a £5 straight accumulator, while John, from Leigh, won almost £6,000 with five winners out of five on a 10p win Lucky31 at Leopardstown, featuring Arthurian Fame (100/30) in the Lady Riders' Handicap.

Dan from London trousered almost £23,000 from his £40 12-fold which included nine ante-post selections including Manchester City, Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern Munich all winning the league.

Dan would've been sweating on both City and Bayern going down the stretch before eventually pocketing £22,650.
