Daryl Jacob, Simon Claisse and Phil Roberts ahead of a new season at Cheltenham

Ahead of the Showcase Meeting at Cheltenham we visited Prestbury Park to set the scene for a new season at the headquarters of National Hunt racing.

Click on the main image above to get the thoughts of Clerk of the Course and Director of Racing Simon Claisse about what makes the venue so special - plus his favourite memories of racing at the track.

We also speak to Phil Roberts, Regional Manager for Jockey Club Catering about the various bars and restaurants racegoers can afford, while Michael Shinners offers the sponsors' perspective.

Video two involves top jockey and Sporting Life columnist Daryl Jacob on the challenges of riding Cheltenham, the pressure of Festival week itself, and the days that will never fade from his career in the saddle.
