Twenty hopefuls remain for the Investec Derby at Epsom

Market leaders Cracksman and Cliffs Of Moher are among 20 five-day entries remaining in the Investec Derby at Epsom.

Cracksman is one of five entries for John Gosden who could also be represented by Crowned Eagle, Glencadem Glory, Khalidi and Pealer.

Cliffs Of Moher heads Aidan O'Brien's team of seven that also includes Capri, Douglas MacArthur, Finn McCool, The Anvil, Venice Beach and Wings Of Eagles.

Aidan's son Joseph O'Brien is set to saddle his first Derby runner in Rekindling, just three years after last winning the race as a jockey aboard Australia.

The only horse missing from towards the top of the ante-post betting is Andre Fabre's Waldgeist, who was as short as 16/1 with some bookmakers.

Permian has been supplemented at a cost of £85,000 for trainer Mark Johnston and he runs in Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum's silver silks.

His father, Sheikh Mohammed, has three potential runners in the Godolphin blue; Benbatl, Best Solution and Dubai Thunder.

Eminent, sixth in the 2000 Guineas, is all set to step up in trip, while Sylvester Kirk's Salouen and the filly Diore Lia complete the entries.
