Nick Robson makes Sharg his best bet at Brighton and has a tip for every race in the UK and Ireland.

Sharg will have to go close to winning at Brighton if he is to go anywhere near repaying his expensive price tag.

Al Shaqab Racing bought the half-brother to Oaks winner Dancing Rain for 500,000 guineas but he has already been gelded. He made his debut three weeks ago on the all-weather at Lingfield and while he only finished fifth of seven it was not totally devoid of promise.

Having chased the pace, he weakened close home in what might not have been a bad event. The winner, Howman, is now rated 79 and the runner-up came out and did the business off 72 next time. With a run under his belt, it is hoped the Richard Hannon-trained Sharg takes a significant leap forward in the Minibet.com-sponsored novice stakes.

Sir Mark Prescott's Matchmaking has scared all but two rivals away in the Minbet.com Handicap over 10 furlongs.

Like so many at the yard, he failed to trouble the judge in three maiden outings last year over inadequate trips.

Stepped up to this trip at Yarmouth last week he made no mistake and he should have no trouble defying a 6lb penalty.

Enzo returned to form last week and as a dual course winner he should take all the beating in the Minibet Handicap over seven furlongs.

Ed Walker's charge had been out of sorts before finishing second at Newbury over a mile. The drop in trip is not too much of a concern.

Zebzardee caught a bit of a tartar last time at Redcar and hopefully in calmer waters should open his account in the BB Foodservice Novice Auction Stakes at Hamilton.

Having finished third on his debut at Beverley to the useful Rockin Roy he was fancied to break his duck on Teesside.

However, he was no match at all for Mick Channon's newcomer Certain Lad, who has since won again and was placed in the Railway Stakes on Saturday.

The second, Big Ace, has come out and won since so it was a hot race for the track and Richard Fahey will be hoping there is nothing as good as those two in this.

Johnny Murtagh is probably sick of bumping into Aidan and Joseph O'Brien and Ger Lyons in maidens in Ireland so he is sending Urban Light to Chepstow.

Having shown up well in three outings at home, Murtagh looks to have found him a good opportunity in the Wilkin Chapman Solicitors Novice Stakes.

Lawney Hill's Oliver's Hill loves fast ground and, having made giant strides last year, should take some stopping in the Avonvale Equine Practice 50th Anniversary Handicap Chase at Stratford.
