Traders tip: 7:35 Newton Abbot- David’s Phoebe @ 22/1
This looks a potentially hot bumper with a number of interesting new recruits making their debut under National Hunt rules. Tom Lacey does exceedingly well in these events (15%) and saddles newcomer David’s Phoebe in tonight’s finale. She’s bred to want further, being related to a couple of Grand National winners, but her pedigree doesn’t lack speed given her sire Dubai Destination has a 21% strike rate in bumpers including some very smart types such as Next Destination. She’s very much so one of interest at a huge price and could be the value in this competitive affair.
