There are a handful of decent events on offer at Wolverhampton's evening meeting, with the Jeremy Noseda-trained Abe Lincoln a particularly eyecatching runner in the opening Betway Casino Handicap.
The five-year-old is really starting to find his stride in the all-weather division now, winning at Wolverhampton and Lingfield on his two most recent outings.
He prevailed by three-quarters of a length at the Surrey venue last time, but probably looked reasonable value for the margin.
The handicapper has boosted his rating by 2lb for that success, but he is still slightly below the mark of 99 he boasted last summer.
Breathless Times did the business as a short-priced favourite over six furlongs at Dunstall Park in January and he can make it a course-and-distance double in the Betway Sprint Novice Stakes.
After finishing second on his racecourse bow the previous month, it was little surprise to see him improve on that and hold Grandfather Tom by a comfortable two and three-quarter lengths.
The runner-up has since won three times himself, so the form is working out quite nicely.
Made Of Honour is the pick in the 32Red.com EBF Fillies' Handicap.
She has won three of her seven starts for Karl Burke, with two of those victories coming in her last two starts in France and at Lingfield.
Her mark of 74 looked quite generous on that latter occasion, and so it proved as she stayed on strong to win by three-quarters of a length over a mile in what was a bit of a messy race.
Dropping back to seven furlongs here may suit equally as well as her stamina is certainly not guaranteed.
