The Tin Man set to return at York Dante meeting

James Fanshawe is hoping for an injury-free season with his top-class sprinter The Tin Man.

The five-year-old finished second in last year's Haydock Sprint Cup before going on to Group One glory at Ascot on Champions Day.

Having shown what he is capable of, Fanshawe is targeting all the major sprints this term.

"The Tin Man looks very well. He has just started to be stepped up in his work," said Fanshawe.

"The first race we are aiming him at is the Duke of York, then he will have a similar programme to last year.

"He had a couple of hold-ups last year we just hope he has a clear run this season."
