Tiffany, trained by Sir Mark Prescott and owned by Elite Racing, won the Group 1 Westminster 136th Grosser Preis von Berlin at Hoppegarten on Sunday.
The six-year-old mare hadn't won since landing a Group 2 in Baden Baden in 2024 although Tiffany has run a number of sound races since, finishing second on five occasions and third on her only other start, including in four Group 1s.
Returning to Germany for the first time this season, Tiffany faced a strong challenge including Almeric (Andrew Balding), Dubai Future and Tornado Alert (both Saeed Bin Suroor).
Rousted along early by Luke Morris, Tiffany then settled in midfield and got a lovely seam up the inside when the field turned into the straight. She picked up well under a trademark Morris ride to get the better of the two Bin Suroor runners close home.
The locally trained Bright Light flashed home in the middle of the track to snatch second from Dubai Future on the line but she ran out of racing room to challenge Tiffany.
The winning distances were just a neck and half-a-length.
“She's been a star for the owners and all the team at home, is very brave and tries very hard,” Morris told www.thoroughbreddailynews.com.
“She's been unfortunate to be second a few times and today she showed her heart to get her Group 1.
"Everyone has been very patient and it's fantastic they have been rewarded.”
Prescott was winning the Group 1 for the third time having previously struck with Albanova (2004) and Alpinista (2021).

There had been a strong challenge from England on the undercard as well but they returned empty handed with Finalise only third in the listed Hoppegartener Steherpreis, beaten two and a quarter lengths, for William Haggas and Harry Davies.
The pair were only seventh with Seren Star in the listed Range Rover-Cup pres. By BritCars Berlin-Hoppegartener Stutenpreis with Rockin' The Boat fifth for David Menuisier.
