Price Boosts - Hit or Miss?

14.35 Southwell - Littledidyouknow

MISS - Trainer knows the time of day with two-year-olds but Southwell no easy place to make debut and couple of these appear live rivals.

14.50 Fairyhouse - Honeysuckle

HIT - Good depth to this mares' Grade One but her form stands up to close scrutiny and could just be too good despite having to skip Cheltenham.

15.10 Cork - Killultagh Vic (Feature Boost)

HIT - Talented performer on his day and he looks well placed here. Slight fears over jumping fences but a clear round should be enough.

15.45 Ffos Las - Champagne Champ

MISS - In good form seemingly and yet there are others in here who appear to be lurking on dangerous marks.

16.30 Plumpton - He's A Goer

MISS - Small field and champion jockey booked are both obvious positives but this could get tactical and not good thing to go one better than last time out.

16.40 Market Rasen - Zamparelli

HIT - Won here on penultimate start and although disappointing when favourite at Uttoxeter, he made mistakes there and can get back on song today.

Trader Tip

Southwell 2.05 – Shakiah

A chance is taken at huge odds on Sharon Watt’s eight-race maiden. The four-year-old filly did show glimmers of potential last year before totally losing her way during the second part of the season and as a result has dropped 13lb in the ratings. Returned this year with a satisfactory effort at today’s track highlighting that she at least likes the surface and the drop in distance looks sure to suit. So with a pipe opener under her belt and a poor graded handicap like today, it offers as good a opportunity as any.
