Go Another One has an ideal opportunity to double his chasing tally at Worcester, according to David Clough.

Nap: Go Another One (2.40 Worcester)

Next Best: Present Chief (3.10 Worcester)

Go Another One has an ideal opportunity to double his chasing tally at Worcester.

John McConnell appears to have chosen the Signature Collection Novices' Chase with great care for his Grade Three-winning hurdler.

The seven-year-old needs good ground to produce his best, and the distance just short of three miles should again be perfect for him.

County Meath trainer McConnell is prepared to travel for the right races - and Worcester's flat, galloping topography has enticed him over to continue his eight-time winner's chasing education.

Champion jockey Richard Johnson renews his association, having been successful in a Listed novice hurdle at Perth over this same trip in April and also been in the saddle en route to an honourable fifth in a Grade One at Punchestown.

Opposition appears modest, so financial rewards for supporting Go Another One may have their limitations.

But there could be more to be gained on that score by investing in McConnell's second runner on the card - jumps and stable debutant Make The Switch, in the Placed For Your Convenience Maiden Hurdle.

The four-year-old is another who could probably do with the rain staying away up north, as forecast.

There is no mistaking his potential at this game, though, having shown decent ability in a brief Flat career for Dermot Weld - indicating throughout that he should have no problem with this move up in trip.

McConnell has wasted no time 'making the switch' in codes, in search of a breakthrough victory at just the fifth attempt.

The Andyloos 30 Years Flushed With Success Intermediate Open National Hunt Flat Race presents a course-and-distance rematch for Dalkingstown and Present Chief.

The former prevailed by just a short head after a proper tussle at the end of July, completing a hat-trick following successive point wins for a good outfit in the spring.

Peter Bowen's gelding has acquired a winner's penalty for his trouble, though, and in any case Jonjo O'Neill's lightly-raced Present Chief may have more immediate potential at this discipline.

Half-an-hour later, Superefficient is another taking on a course-and-distance rival on improved terms in the Doorchester Suite Luxury Collection Mares' Handicap Hurdle.

An extra 2lb for a fair-and-square, length-and-a-quarter defeat is not on its own necessarily enough to anticipate an overhaul of the form with Hot Ryan. But that was only Superefficient's second start, after wind surgery, for Dan Skelton - and her continued progress is highly likely.

On the Flat at Brighton, get on the early bandwagon with Thegreyvtrain in the opening Susan Catt Birthday Celebration Handicap. Ron Harris' filly is being kept busy, and this will be her eighth start since early July.

But she continues to thrive on her racing, and was a creditable second at Bath on Tuesday - behind a bang in-form winner and well clear of the rest.

Thegreyvtrain will be running off the same mark here, on her Brighton bow, and has acquired the significant assistance of title-chasing Oisin Murphy for the first time.

Her long trip from Monmouthshire can pay off.

The Chandlers Brighton Mini Handicap looks tricky at first glance, but it may prove spot on for another industrious performer.

Stuart Williams' Enthaar is no slouch at all, with 11 runs under his belt since the turn of the year.

He remains consistent too - and even allowing for his rival's rider allowance, has a handy pull at the weights with Alicia Darcy since she comfortably got the better of their course-and-distance meeting last week.

Jason Watson previously won at the first attempt on Enthaar, and they are reunited here.
