The customer placed 10p each-way six-folds across eight selections, six of which won for a payout of £26,220.75, which was topped up to the tune of around £13,000 by four- and five-folds.
The bet began with Monsieur Jimmy improving his magnificent Southwell record when he got up to win the opener by a nose, while there would be a second winner from the Nottinghamshire track courtesy of the impressive Abraj Dubai.
Southwell was also the scene of the two losers - Treaty Of Rome and Quadriga - but thanks to winners at Taunton and Ludlow, the customer collected a huge payout.
Here are their inspired selections:
12.40 Southwell - Monsieur Jimmy 5/1 (SP 6/1)
13.45 Southwell - Treaty Of Rome - lost
14.05 Taunton - Red Admirable 8/1 (SP 7/2)
14.45 Southwell - Abraj Dubai 5/1 (SP 7/2)
15.10 Taunton - Midnight Gypsy 8/1 (SP 3/1)
15.30 Ludlow - The Happy Chappy 9/2 (SP 10/1)
15.40 Taunton - Notarfbad 6/1 (SP 6/1)
15.50 Southwell - Quadriga - lost
The customer benefited hugely from the receipt of Best Odds Guaranteed, without which six-fold element of the bet would've paid out just over £11,000, The Happy Chappy a particularly big drifter to boost the winnings.
Had Treaty Of Rome and Quadriga both won, the customer would have collected £500,000 and even after the seventh leg, with a loser already on the betting slip, Quadriga would have earned them over £200,000.
Sky Bet's Michael Shinners said: "While we're all preparing for three quality days at Cheltenham, this customer trawled some fairly low-grade Thursday cards to win a huge sum of money from relatively small stakes.
"Although the payout would've gone into six figures had Quadriga won we're not sure the customer will be thinking 'what might have been' - more 'what might I do' with close to £40,000. Bravo."
