Sceau Royal could make his second start over fences on Friday at The Showcase at Cheltenham

Sceau Royal could make his second start over fences in Friday's squareintheair.com Novices' Chase at Cheltenham.

After making a winning chase debut at Warwick earlier this month, the Alan King-trained five-year-old will attempt to maintain his unbeaten record over fences in the two-mile prize.

The Simon Munir and Isaac Souede-owned gelding is a 20/1 shot (Sky Bet) for next year's Racing Post Trophy Arkle Challenge Chase.

King said: "The plan is to go to Cheltenham on Friday. He appears in good form and it was a good performance at Warwick, but this will be tougher again.

"Daryl Jacob sat on him on Thursday and jumped nine fences and he has worked well since so as long as things are OK, he will go to Cheltenham."

Plans remain fluid for Mia's Storm following her impressive debut win over fences against the boys at Chepstow.

King added: "I was delighted with her at Chepstow. They were all rated pretty similar and we were hoping for a good run, but we were surprised she did it so well.

"She does go well fresh and I am in no great rush to bring her back. She cantered on Monday morning, but there are no plans at the moment.

"We will definitely get her back in some of those mares' races at some stage. We will just look for the right race for her.

"She was progressive last year and the only time she disappointed was when we ran her on deep ground, so we won't do that again."
