Investec Derby: Full draw of every horse for Saturday's Classic at Epsom

Saxon Warrior has drawn the dreaded stall one for Saturday's Investec Derby at Epsom - and only three colts have won the great race from there.

Aidan O'Brien's horse will break from the inside in Saturday's Classic as he bids to keep alive hopes of the Triple Crown, following his impressive return success in the QIPCO 2000 Guineas at Newmarket.

Lingfield Trial winner Knight To Behold is alongside in two and history is against him, too, as no Derby winner has been housed there since the introduction of starting stalls.

Frankie Dettori's mount Hazapour breaks from three with Masar, The Pengagon and Kew Gardens occupying the widest stalls of all.

Saxon Warrior is Sky Bet's 5/6 favourite for Saturday's contest on the back of his impressive return success in the QIPCO 2000 Guineas.

Roaring Lion, drawn in stall five, is 7/1 following his comfortable victory in the Dante while Young Rascal is 8/1 from 9/1 having earned his place in the field by winning well at Chester.

Rostropovich and Nelson, both stablemates of the favourite, were the only two absentees from a final field of 12.

Dermot Weld won his first Derby just two years ago with Harzand and has a close relative of the 2016 hero representing him this season in Hazapour, winner of the Derrinstown Stud Trial.

"Hazapour has an each-way chance, but I think it could be a really good renewal of the race," said Weld.

"It could be a very exciting Derby. The word is that the favourite is an outstanding colt, and the horse that won the Dante (Roaring Lion) was very impressive.

"I'm happy with my fella. He's so laid-back. I was satisfied with his work the other day, but Frankie was delighted."

Roaring Lion is one of two runners for John Gosden with the rain persuading him to let Sevenna Star take his chance. He will be a first Derby ride for Robert Havlin.

Young Rascal, owned by Investec's managing director Bernard Kantor, runs for William Haggas with Craven winner Masar aiming to be the first winner in Godolphin's blue silks.

Harry Dunlop's Knight To Behold was very impressive in the Lingfield Derby Trial and has his supporters while Mark Johnston's Dee Ex Bee completes the field. He will be ridden by champion jockey Silvestre de Sousa.
