Seinesational looks a sporting bet to take the plaudits in the Emirates Cesarewitch, according to Keith Hamer.

NAP: Seinesational (4.10 Newmarket)

Next Best: Danzeno (3.50 York)

Seinesational looks a sporting bet to take the plaudits in the Emirates Cesarewitch at attractive odds at Newmarket.

William Knight's four-year-old may not be one of the leading fancies, but at least he is guaranteed to stay every inch of the two-and-a-quarter-mile trip.

Arguably his best effort to date came over an extended two and a half miles at Glorious Goodwood, when he was only beaten a neck by Timoshenko after leading briefly in the final furlong.

After running creditably back at the Sussex venue and at Ayr, Seinesational heads to Headquarters with sound claims in a wide-open race.

The headline act on a quality and varied card is Pinatubo, who should cement his place as champion two-year-old by taking his 100 per cent record to six in the Darley Dewhurst Stakes.

The Shamardal colt has already earned an extraordinarily high rating of 128 with a series of top-class performances, culminating in a nine-length romp in the National Stakes at the Curragh.

His price is sure to be prohibitive, but he is the banker of the day.

There are two other Group races for juveniles on the programme, with Max Vega looking likely to last out the mile and a quarter in the Godolphin Flying Start Zetland Stakes.

The Ralph Beckett-trained colt got the stiff mile at Pontefract easily enough when bolting up by six lengths on good to soft ground.

Cherokee Trail can make it three from three for trainer John Gosden in the Dubai Autumn Stakes.

The son of War Front, out of Classic-placed Moth, has won both his races at Ascot and Newbury in likeable style. Those victories have only been in novice company, but he looks to have plenty of potential.

Danzeno, placed in Listed races won by Dakota Gold in his last starts, can gain just reward reverting to handicap company in the Coral Sprint Trophy at York.

Mick Appleby's eight-year-old gelding retains his form really well, winning twice this season and finishing third in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot.

Coolagh Forest was a good winner over the extended 10 furlongs on this track last month and can repeat the feat in the Smart Money's On Coral Handicap.

The three-year-old, trained by Richard Fahey, was put up 6lb for his two-and-a-half-length success, but he won with such authority making all that he can defy the rise.

Greaneteen can provide the answer to a tricky-looking contest for the Cotswold Stone Supplies Ltd Silver Trophy Handicap Hurdle at Chepstow.

Trained by Paul Nicholls, the ex-French five-year-old looked a smart prospect when winning his last two novice hurdles.

A 258-day absence may not prevent Greaneteen kick-starting his season with a notable victory.
