Dave Smith guides punters through every ITV7 race on Saturday, with Hell's Kitchen a strong fancy at Aintree.
A competitive handicap to get the game under way this week and TALENT TO AMUSE makes some appeal. There is surely better expected here after he fell on his handicap debut at Chepstow and he clearly needed the run at Worcester last time out. He's on a fair mark and can expose that here.
It's clear to see why COULD IT BE LOVE wears headgear as he was headed close home last time out at Dundalk after pretty much pulling up in front. He won't get a facile lead here and is taken to land a big prize after encouraging runs in the Jersey Stakes and the Irish 1000 Guineas earlier in the season - although recent form is somewhat worrying.
BAGS GROVE jumped markedly to his right last time out at Ffos Las so this right-handed course should suit. Secret Investor hasn't gone over fences but if he can transfer his hurdling form over the bigger obstacles then he will be a big player here.
14:40 Aintree - Rewards4Racing Handicap Chase (Class 2)
HELL's KITCHEN looked like something was amiss last time out when pulling up at Leopardstown but he is lightly raced and has shown some ability in the past. He beat Cheltenham scorer Mister Whitaker conceding weight at Kempton on Boxing Day and can go well again here.
15:00 Wincanton - Unibet Elite Hurdle (Grade 2) (Class 1)
A number of these arrive here in excellent form and WE HAVE A DREAM drops in Grade to take these on. His performance at Aintree last year was thrilling and a repeat here should see him take this.
15:15 Doncaster - Marathonbet November Handicap (Class 2)
The handicapper has been very fair with WOLF COUNTRY who stays on a mark of 98. He's on better terms with Now Children and with the trainer in superb form he could be a good shout at getting through to the final leg.
15:35 Wincanton - Badger Ales Trophy Handicap Chase (Listed) (Class 1)
If the race doesn't come too soon then BELMOUNT should have an excellent chance after running a cracker at Exeter in the week. He won his first two starts this term and should be competitive off the same mark as his runners-up finish at the Devon course.
