Hereford: Weather threatens Saturday card

Hereford Saturday card subject to morning inspection

Hereford's jumps programme on Saturday must pass an 8am course inspection on raceday morning.

Clerk of the course Libby O'Flaherty checked conditions on Friday morning and found parts of the track still unraceable due to snow.

Flaherty said in a statement that the majority of the track was clear, "though some areas remain covered in snow".

The going is soft, but it could get to as low as minus 5C overnight.
