Summer Sands made no mistake as the 11/8 market leader in Saturday's Listed Racing TV Redcar Two Year Old Trophy.
Looking to back up last weekend's fine third in the Group One Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket, Richard Fahey's colt broke smartly under Barry McHugh and never really looked in much danger on his way to a clear-cut victory.
Fahey was completing a treble from the first three races on the Redcar card, having sent out Embolden (7/1) and Lightning Attack (5/2) to win earlier in the afternoon.
Michael Dods' progressive Troubador (13/2) maintained his excellent run of form with another second but he wasn't in the same class as the winner who had a couple of lengths in hand at the line.
Third went to Desert Safari, who was unbeaten heading into the race following all-weather wins at Wolverhampton and Kempton.
Summer Sands wins the Redcar Two Year Old Trophy as a great day for @RichardFahey continues...
