Nicky Henderson has confirmed the RSA Chase is Whisper's likely Cheltenham Festival target.
The nine-year-old, a Grade One winner over hurdles, is also in the JLT Novices' Chase at the Festival.
However the master of Seven Barrows, who has Top Notch prominent in the betting for the JLT and RSA favourite Might Bite also in his ranks, is looking at taking Dai Walters' charge back up in trip later this month.
"I just think it's the kinder race for him to help him get into a rhythm. That's the thought at the moment anyway. I think the JLT looks warm," he reasoned.
Whisper is currently an 8/1 chance with Sky Bet in their non-runner/no bet market on the RSA.
