Richard Fahey guides us through his team for Saturday and Sunday

Five runners at Thirsk on Sunday and he's hopeful of a bold show from a two-year-old making his racecourse debut.

12:50 Thirsk - Vivacious Boy

He runs at Wolverhampton on Friday night and if he comes out of that could head here too. He looks like he’s one for the handicap route and might struggle to win a maiden so we want to get races and experience into him.

1.55 Thirsk – Mighty Spirit

I thought she ran very well on her reappearance at Royal Ascot, finishing fifth behind Art Power, and then she got very upset in the stalls at York next time. You can excuse her run there as a result and if she’s back in the same form as at Ascot then she’d go close here.

3.35 Thirsk – It’s A Green Thing

He makes his handicap debut and the assessor looks to have used the best run of his three – on his second start at Newcastle – to give him a rating of 62. I hope he can run to it. He’s working well and I’d expect track and trip to suit.

4.45 Thirsk – Shark Two One

He’s quite a nice colt, a son of Adaay, who goes well. We really like him at home, he’s a good sort physically and I’d hope he can go well on debut. The only worry is whether he’s going to be quick enough for five furlongs here but it looks a nice starting point.

5.20 Thirsk – Take That

He's shown absolutely zero all of his life and could be heading for retirement unless more is forthcoming here. He’s a grand horse but just hasn’t been competitive bar one day at Newcastle which was a very pleasant surprise.
