TWO COMMANDERS - 15:45 Musselburgh (NAP)
TWO COMMANDERS has an unexposed profile and a pedigree that suggests he's well worth stepping back up to seven furlongs. The son of Mohaather started his career over this distance in a Catterick maiden and while he been campaigned over six furlongs since then - including when opening his account in June - the most recent effort when running on into third strongly suggests he wants more of a test now. The form of that race has also been quite well advertised since and Ed Bethell's charge gets another chance off the same handicap mark.
RIVER WHARFE - 16:30 Brighton
Billy Loughnane has a good book of Brighton rides on Monday and RIVER WHARFE could be the pick of the bunch in the mile handicap. He's a regular here and having won a classified race here earlier in the month, backed it up with a good third in a similar event over slightly shorter. He's got outstanding claims back in a handicap this time with Loughnane taking over in the saddle (from Molly Gunn).
STAR OBSESSION - 19:18 Windsor
Molly Mac looks to be on a roll but STAR OBSESSION may have a bit more in hand from the assessor on handicap debut. William Haggas fits a tongue-tie for the first time and the daughter of Frankel could easily benefit from a drop in trip having looked quite a keen-going sort in her three qualifying runs on the all-weather much earlier in the year.
