It's a massive weekend for Aidan O'Brien, who is the leading trainer in the Middle Park Stakes having won the race five times in the past, US Navy Flag scoring for Ballydoyle 12 months ago. He's odds-on to claims a sixth victory with Ten Sovereigns who is going to take the world of beating if transferring his efforts on home soil to Newmarket.

O'Brien is still seeking his first win in the bet365 Cambridgeshire but he doesn't have many runners in the big handicap so it's significant that Kenya has been pointed in this direction. It's not hard to imagine this is a proper Group horse and if there's a handicap blot then he's the one that stands out like a beacon.

It could be a seriously good day for the O'Brien team, with Cape Of Good Hope fancied to land the Royal Lodge. The Superlative Stakes second is going to love the move up to a mile and he's a tough sort with plenty of experience already. That should stand in him good stead.

There's real depth to the Cheveley Park Stakes but Pretty Pollyanna is top class. There'll be some long faces in the Bell family if she's turned over and hopefully it'll be all smiles, as it was in France last time when she beat Signora Cabello.

What is a Yankee?

The bet commonly referred to as a Yankee is a four-selection wager consisting of 11 individual bets in total. They are made up of six doubles, four trebles and a four-fold accumulator. The Yankee is rumoured to be named after an American soldier that placed a small bet in the UK and won hundreds of thousands.
