Salouen was a horse I followed off a cliff last season having fancied him to run a big race in the Investec Derby. He ran well in defeat on a number of occasions in 2017 and can get his new campaign off to a winning start in the 2.50 at Ascot.
Thundering Blue looks the answer to the opener. He caught the eye on his reappearance at Epsom, getting no luck in running, and he is a horse to follow this term.
Urban Fox has top weight in the 3.25 but that shouldn't stop her. She cost current connections 420,000 guineas following a successful three-year-old campaign and is the sort of horse William Haggas excels with.
Finally, Sabador can run well at a big price in the Victoria Cup. He ran well in the Britannia at the Royal meeting here last June and is open to improvement this season. The nature of the race will suit him and he'll go better than his odds suggest.
