Aidan O'Brien leaves seven in William Hill St Leger


Ante-post favourite Kew Gardens is one of seven five-day entries for trainer Aidan O'Brien in the William Hill St Leger at Doncaster.

Winner of the Queen's Vase and Grand Prix de Paris, he warmed-up for the final Classic of the season when finishing third in the Sky Bet Great Voltigeur Stakes. He faces a Town Moor rematch with his York conqueror Old Persian.

The Ballydoyle team is completed by Flag Of Honour, Giuseppe Garibaldi, Nelson, Southern France, The Penagon and Zabriskie.

Charlie Appleby and Godolphin, responsible for Old Persian, also have Brundtland and Loxley in Saturday's showpiece while John Gosden's runaway Galtres Stakes winner Lah Ti Dar stands her ground.

Investec Derby runner-up Dee Ex Bee is set to represent Mark Johnston, Joseph O'Brien could run his Irish Derby hero Latrobe and Proschema, Raymond Tusk and Maid Up complete the 16-strong field.
