Muthmir is in line to bid for sprint honours in the King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot following his victory at Chantilly on Sunday.
The seven-year-old, trained by William Haggas, was third to Goldream in the five-furlong Group One at the Royal meeting in 2015 and earned another crack at the race after winning the Group Two Prix du Gros-Chene for a second time.
"We were obviously delighted with him and all roads lead to the King's Stand, all being well," said Angus Gold, racing manager for owner Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum.
