Free betting tips & odds: Monday's best bets for horse racing, football, NFL and greyhounds

We round up our best bets for today's sporting action including horse racing, football, NFL and greyhounds.

Sporting Life's Best Bets for Monday

HORSE RACING: World Record in the 5.25 at Brighton

By Ben Linfoot: Second twice this season from just three runs, he's hinted his winning turn isn't far away and the soft ground on the south coast holds no fears. With plenty of his rivals out of form this looks a good opportunity for him to get another win on the board.

FOOTBALL: Huddersfield & draw, double chance v West Ham

By David John: Tom Ince is quite interesting to break his duck in front of goal this season having popped up in a threatening position once or twice already, but I am going to side instead with the visitors collectively at a whisker of odds-on in the double chance betting.

NFL: Jamaal Charles to score a touchdown anytime v San Diego

By David John: One player who has suffered more than most is former Kansas City running back Jamaal Charles. He has earned himself a place on Denver’s roster this summer after getting back to full health following a serious knee issue and just might be worth a chance to make an immediate impression for his new team with a touchdown.

HORSE RACING: Guitar Pete in the 3.35 Perth

By Murt Khan: The once useful Guitar Pete looks very fairly handicapped over chases now off 125. He has run with credit on the Flat and over hurdles of late and is showing signs of his old self since moving to Nicky Richards. Theo has a hike in the handicap to deal with today, whilst Master Dee and Hammersly Lake have to contend with career high marks, and this looks a very nice opening for Guitar Pete.

Guitar Pete: Big chance at Perth

GREYHOUNDS: Marians Dream in the 9.12 at Yarmouth

By Chris Oliver: The 9.12 could go the way of another recent Irish recruit in the shape of Marians Dream (T1), who was the subject of plenty of support in the ante-post market before finishing second in the heats. That run should have brought him on and he goes in what looks the weakest quarter-final, with a good chance to turn in front on the rails and he will be tough to peg back if doing so.
