Magical Memory entered in Duke Of York Stakes

Last year's winner Magical Memory is among 15 confirmations for the Duke of York Stakes on the Knavesmire on Wednesday.

Charlie Hills' grey defeated Suedois by half a length to land the Group Two spoils 12 months ago and the David O'Meara-trained runner-up is also among the possible runners for the six-furlong feature.

The respective first three home in the Qipco British Champions Sprint – The Tin Man, Growl and Brando – could do battle again.

Growl is trained by Richard Fahey, who has also left in Kimberella, with Richard Hannon relying upon Cammidge Trophy winner Tupi.

Golden Shaheen runner-up Comicas is one of three Charlie Appleby-trained sprinters along with Baccarat and Jungle Cat, while William Haggas has Raucous and Tasleet under consideration.

Mobsta, Nameitwhatyoulike and Final Venture complete the list.
