MISS - The Elliott team are always to be feared when travelling to these shores but there are some potential improvers in here to suggest odds-on quotes about Western Honour are a little skinny.
3.10 Uttoxeter - The Cashel Man
HIT - Smart Flat performer shaped with a huge amount of promise on his hurdling debut at Kempton and ought to go one better here.
3.30 Plumpton - Brandon Castle
HIT - Another who was useful on the level and has seemingly taken to hurdles very well. Two wins from two starts in this code so far and could take some stopping again.
5.25 Wolverhampton - Kingi Compton
MISS - Speedy sort but he can miss the kick, as was the case at Lingfield on Friday, and he looks short enough given he isn't guaranteed to break on terms again.

3.55 Ayr - Square Viviani
Yet to win since arriving at Mickey Hammond’s stable, this multiple winner in France is expected to record his first UK victory today. Ran with credit last time out on first outing since a wind op (second has has won since) and has subsequently been dropped a further 2lb, which accumulates to a massive 21lb drop in the weights since arriving from France. Current excellent form of yard a further positive in what appears a modest event.
