This former classy performer for Roger Varian looks to have a better chance that his current odds of around 20/1 suggest in this highly competitive closing handicap.
When trained in the UK he finished a half-length second to Oh This Is Us in a Goodwood handicap when giving that rival well over a stone in weight but now gets 1lb from the same rival (who is currently 9/2). Either side of that he was sent off favourite in Pattern races and was last seen in the UK in the Jersey at Royal Ascot.
He’s had a run at Abu Dhabi, where he ran ok in a Listed race, which should mean he is fit, has a favourable draw and looks to have plenty in his favour today in Sky Bet’s extra place race.
