It's a surprise that Cieran Fallon can still ride in an apprentice race and Hughie Morrison has booked him for Sulochana, who has been running well but has her first start on the surface. The stable also run Mystery Mac, who makes his handicap and all-weather debut on what looks a high enough mark. Critique was beaten in a Lingfield seller on his penultimate start but ran a bit better at Chelmsford while Bad Attitude scored on the latter track in March and has run well enough in his last two starts to get into contention. Dylan Hogan is one of the more experienced riders here and PAX BRITANNICA was racing in slightly better company on Tapeta at Newcastle when not beaten far in fifth and could be good enough.

Dubai Elegance has won twice around here and is 3lb lower than her last winning mark. Frow was having his 17th start when losing his maiden tag at Kempton for which he's penalised 5lb so a chance is taken that PASSING NOD acts on the surface. A dual winner at Lingfield in January, he was only beaten just over a length there last week and is on a 1lb lower mark. Swissal is running into form having been beaten a short-head over the course and distance last week while Sparkling Diamond gained her only victory to date over 6f here in the summer and has no problems with the extra.

Deftera Lad is 2-26 with both victories coming here. He's 7lb higher than his last victory but has continued to run well. SOVEREIGN BEAUTY made a successful debut at Goodwood in June last year but suffered in the ratings. She'd dropped to a fair mark at Salisbury last time and was only beaten a neck so is taken to get back on the winning trail. Sfumato scored from a 1lb higher mark here last summer while Kyllachy Dragon was racing from an 18lb higher mark at this time a year ago and the in-form Tom Marquand has been booked.

STEELRIVER (NAP) has won seven times around here and from higher marks. He completed a hat-trick on the track earlier in the year and was returning from a break when a very good third in a better handicap a couple of weeks ago. Machree has only had one run here and finished last but she's very much better than that and has been running well in better class handicaps on Turf. Dream House stayed on strongly over the track and trip a fortnight ago though that was in a Class 5 while Kingsholm's victory here in August came over 6f in Class 6. Heer We Go Again won a nursery here in December but has been racing on Turf for most of the summer.

You're Cool has won 10 races including seven around here though not since May last year. Reassure won a nursery at Newcastle in November but suffered in the weights as a consequence and he's just starting to edge down. Prince Of Rome has been running quite well on Turf while Seneca Chief has won three of his last five, though at a lower level. GET BOOSTING gained his only success here and has finished runner-up twice on the track. He's performed with credit at a higher level the last twice and can double his winning tally.

CHARLIE FELLOWES had been finding one too good until finally getting off the mark with a seven-length victory at Beverley. He's penalised for this and has to concede 5lb to Catterick winner Country Charm but should be up to the task. Desert Mist never got close at Redcar while Pleinmont was very green at Kempton but both should improve significantly for the experience.

International Law gained his fourth victory on the track in a Class 6 handicap but couldn't quite cope with a 4lb rise when tackling this grade on a return visit. My Poem hasn't had much experience but was staying on over slightly shorter at Windsor and should be winning in this grade soon. Burano Boy is also a maiden but his last two runs on Polytrack point to his chances if taking to the surface. CHAMPS DE REVES has never won here but his latest run at Bath when beaten a neck points to his chances and Megan Nicholls' claim is a plus.

Windsorlot won twice here earlier this year and found 1m4f too far last time but Tony Carroll looks to have a better chance with Thunderoad, who ran well for third here earlier this month though is 0-23. RED GUNNER, twice a winner here, had run well at Bath before getting no sort of run at Chelmsford. Mark Loughnane's charge gets the nod though Plansina is respected as she's now on her lowest-ever mark and has been performing with credit here and at Lingfield. Christmas Night has also dropped to a winnable mark and wasn't stopping on his first start over the extended mile here two weeks ago.

AJYAALL started favourite on his Haydock debut and duly obliged. He was long odds-on for his next run on this track but showed signs of temperament at the start and was left a long way before finishing strongly. Tom Marquand takes over and compensation awaits though Driving Force is an obvious danger after bolting up by nine lengths at Kempton. Dollar Bid, a son of Frankel, made a reasonable debut here in November but was well beaten on his belated reappearance at Chelmsford earlier this month while Rainbird was a 100/1 chance when fourth at Kempton last month.
