Free racing tips: Man On The Spot previews every race from Deauville on Thursday

Check out our race-by-race verdicts and nap selection for Thursday's meeting at Deauville.

10.10 (All times BST, live on Sky Sports Racing): The Rock Of Gibraltar filly Gouvernail could attract some attention in the market and so could CHERIE AMOUR. A E250,000 purchase at Arqana, she'll know her job and gets the vote. Feelie Win is by Holy Roman Empire and could prove best of Andrea Marcialis' three entries.

10.40: Lucky Lycra has won a couple of races but finished last when tackling Group 2 company at Longchamp in October. Muette finished fourth in that latter contest and should have a good season though EDISA looks the one to beat. She comes here off the back of a very good fourth in the Group 3 Prix Exbury at Saint-Cloud in March and normal progress can see her take this. Any further rain would be to the advantage of Think Of Me, a very easy winner on heavy going at Fontainbleau in March. Amarena is a Listed winner who had little chance in the French Oaks when last seen in June while Endorphine may prove best of the remainder having finished runner-up in a Saint-Cloud Listed race in November.

11.10: MILLE FOIS MERCI is by Galileo out of a Group 3 winner. She made a very promising debut at Longchamp in September and though twice beaten when odds-on later wasn't suited by dropping down in trip. She had Aquitaine almost 3 lengths behind in that opening event and Ceinture Noire looks more of a threat. A very good second in a lucrative sales event at Longchamp in October, she didn't handle heavy ground and Group 3 company on this track later that month. Jamilya and Crush On Me were separated by a head when occupying the places on Chantilly's Polytrack in March so have the advantage of race fitness.

11.40: Amour En Poeme showed potential at Chantilly and looked at home on heavy ground when beaten less than a length over 7f at Longchamp in October. Civil Law didn't appreciate dropping in trip at Saint-Cloud in September after a fair debut at Vichy. Telemaque cost $650,000 being a son of War Front and related to three winners. He started favourite at Maisons-Laffitte in July but finished tailed off so there was obviously something amiss. He'll be expected to do much better while the Experienced Talap, placed in his last three starts for Roger Varian, has joined a yard that has started the campaign in blistering form. First Sight made a very promising debut at Chantilly in December, when Safran was just behind, but the vote goes to ROBLE, who caught the eye at Saint-Cloud last week and can make his fitness advantage count. Further Measure and Raysteve are also fit from recent runs and make this an interesting maiden.

12.10: Eastern Promise gained a surprise victory at Bordeaux in February, with Curly Chop 6 lengths behind, but was well beaten at Langon on Sunday. Stromboli did well to finish second at Angers last week and has to be respected but it's the consistent SUR MA VIE who gets the nod in a poor handicap. Runner-up here in March, that should have put her spot-on for this. Gugus Des Brieres hasn't shown much but is expected to do better under Christophe Soumillon while Pole Celeste, a four-times winner on the all-weather, didn't run badly at Longchamp last week and this is a drop in grade. Maktava completed a double when scoring here last summer but may need the run under a big weight.

12.50: PLANTLOVE (NAP) was in cracking form at the end of last season, beating 15 rivals in a similar event at Longchamp in October. She still looks on a fair mark and can go in again. Allez Henri was returning from a long break when a close third at Saint-Cloud in March so with that under his belt should get into contention. Chasselay was in good form over the winter and a big weight shouldn't prevent another strong performance and he can reverse recent Chantilly form with Furious Des Aigles. Monargent had Tabularasa 2 lengths behind when scoring at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in February though had been beaten by Furious Des Aigles here earlier.

1.25: Heir To A Throne is a consistent performer who will be fit from a close third at Chantilly in March. Banoush had been racing over hurdles before landing a claimer on that track in February while Chill Wind had been running reasonably well before landing a handicap at Cagnes-Sur-Mer that month and should get into contention. Six-times winner Vicopisano couldn't handle the step-up in class and trip at Compiegne in March after scoring their a week earlier but Jeitiso Bayer has been in cracking form on the all-weather over the winter and scored here in January. SHAMSABAD has been a beaten favourite in three of his last four including when a head behind Porsenna at Chantilly in March and it's about time he was compensating his supporters.

2.00: Many of these are making their handicap debuts including MIXOLOGIST who reappeared with a maiden victory on heavy ground at Saint Brieuc in March. That could be good enough in what looks a moderate event. My Sweet Boy was narrowly beaten in a poor contest at Lyon La Soie in February but may be capable of further progress while Imbleville has been showing up well and has to be respected on his handicap bow. Abbello may prove best of the remainder with Soumillon booked though Countess De Vega wasn't beaten far at Chantilly last time.

2.35: TETE RAIDER was having his 13th start when scoring comfortably on the all-weather here in February and doesn't look to have much more to do. Nostalbowl has won five times in his career but has been a beaten favourite in his last three runs at Cagnes Sur Mer. Imago Jasius hasn't run since November though should enjoy the conditions while three-times winner Wiseiten didn't run badly in a better race at Longchamp last week. Top-weight shouldn't prevent a big run from the filly Sissi Doloise, who hasn't ben beaten far in her last two runs on the all-weather track here.

3.10: Miss Rafael had been running well without much luck all winter so deserved a change of fortune in heavy going at Fontainebleau in March where she had LANCE D'ESTUAIRE a neck back in second. The runner-up is 2lb better off which may just be enough to turn the tables and land this. The lightly-raced Merci Merci was running well at the end of last year though could just need this but El Cat Bere ran his best race for a very long time at Toulouse and wouldn't need much more to get into contention. The eight-times winner Private Lesson's was in winning form around this time a year ago and though well past the veteran stage shouldn't be out of place in this line-up.
