SABOUSI was beaten only a length by the progressive Bullace over 7f at Kempton on last month’s debut. This extra distance should suit Sir Michael Stoute’s charge and he’s preferred to Glide Down. The latter showed earlier promise at Salisbury before disappointing in soft ground at Nottingham and may do better on this surface while the newcomer Top Table is a US-bred half-sister to a Grade 1 winner on Turf and worth noting for the in-form Gosden yard.

KAHEALL is going the right way having won a maiden over today’s trip at Wolverhampton last month. Further progress looks likely now handicapping and he makes more appeal than Toussarok. The latter finished runner-up at Kempton recently, with the re-opposing London Palladium and Evening Song behind, and can figure again while the former’s stablemate Ventura Vision won a lower grade contest at Chelmsford but is 5lb higher today. Arthur's Angel is another upped in class.

Kylla Looks returned a surprise winner upped to 7f at Wolverhampton and carries a penalty for that success. Alezan went close over a mile at Kempton looking for his first win on the all-weather but IRISH TIMES scored over track and trip back in March and a return to winning ways looked imminent when finishing runner-up here last time. Pearl Spectre’s long losing run continues despite sliding down the weights and the remainder are even harder to recommend.

Elzaam's Dream has only won over 6f so far and went close over the latter trip at Wolverhampton last week. But ROCKESBURY is a course and distance winner and, having placed at Wolverhampton the last twice now, looks set to get his head back in front. Zahirah has a bit to find with the selection on earlier form but Mont Kiara has placed over 7f on a couple of occasions without troubling the winner. Oneofararekind has more scope than most and goes handicapping for the first time.

War Glory has won off a higher mark before and went close in this grade over track and trip a fortnight ago. He’s taken to confirm latest running with Sir Maximilian and Home Before Dusk but PLANTADREAM (NAP) gets another chance. The latter came up short over 1m2f last time but an earlier neck defeat over today’s distance at Lingfield with Pistoletto behind gives him every chance and John Best’s charge makes most appeal. Count Of Amazonia won a lower grade contest here on his first outing after wind surgery while both United Front and Salateen have switched to Mick Appleby’s yard since last in action.

Invincible Larne and Split Down South will need to step up on recent efforts but the remaining trio all won last time. Nigel Nott is penalised for winning over the minimum trip here though scored over course and distance earlier while Diamond Dougal has been raised 4lb for winning at Wolverhampton, though has scored off a higher mark on the Turf. German raider GAMGOOM won his latest outing at Dortmund and made a successful trip over to this track back in February when scoring off a 7lb higher mark - he is reunited with winning partner Hayley Turner today.

POWER OF STATES bids for a fourth straight course and distance success having dead-heated with Arij a week ago. That pair finished six lengths ahead of the rest and Hugo Palmer’s charge is taken to defy a penalty. Big Country has shout on an earlier second off a similar mark here and Mostawaa could go well again after placing at Newcastle, though both earlier wins came over a mile. Global Art is upped in class and 7lb higher than when scoring at the track in September.

SCOFFLAW may have finally tumbled far enough down the weights to get his head back in front. David Evans’ charge finished third over track and trip last month and can race off the same mark today with an apprentice’s allowance also helping his cause. Tebay was in good form early in the year but hasn’t raced since February and has undergone wind surgery but Famous Dynasty won off today’s mark at Windsor back in August and posted his best effort since at Lingfield last time. Kerrera placed here recently and may prove best of the rest.

No recent winning form on offer but SPLASH OF VERVE was beaten only a neck over track and trip in October and gets the vote on that form having subsequently run well again at Wolverhampton. Mdina is fitted with headgear after a better effort at the latter track and could figure while the three-year-olds Aqaareb and Henley Park have more scope than most of these stepping up in distance today.
