Kestenna came forward from her promising debut to score next time and can carry on her upward trajectory in the Unibet Casino Deposit £10 Get £40 Bonus Fillies’ Novice Stakes, with runner-up Lightning Lou boosting the form recently.
Julie Camacho’s team has started to get going again and Chosen World can prove the point by taking in the Bombardier Handicap at Newcastle.
The seven-year-old landed a deserved success over this seven furlongs last month after several decent efforts there in the last few months.
He has gone up 4lb, but he has won off a higher mark in the past.
Who’s In The Box can make his staying count in the Tunstall Handicap Chase at Catterick.
Nick Kent’s seven-year-old took the Lincolnshire National at Market Rasen in game fashion on his latest start and his stamina knows no bounds. He also carries bottom weight which is a big advantage in testing conditions.
Maskada made all the running to score at Hereford and Newbury this term and similar tactics can provide the same result in the catterickbridge.co.uk Handicap Hurdle.
The five-year-old mare, trained by Stuart Edmunds, was dominant at Newbury when scoring by four and a half lengths. She found more when pressed by Miss Heritage from the second-last flight and pulled away on the run-in.
A 7lb rise in the ratings may not stop her from going in again.
Sigurd can continue his winning run in the Racing Post Gonorth Weekend 20-22 March Handicap Chase at Carlisle.
Joanne Foster’s gelding has had a little break since notching up two victories at Catterick.
His latest success was by 39 lengths, yet the handicapper has taken a lenient view of that as only four of the nine starters finished.
The assessor may live to regret that. Sigurd had, after all, been an 11-length scorer before that.
Highland Hunter fell on his fencing debut but can make amends in the Introducing Racing TV Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase.
Paul Nicholls’ eight-year-old had done little wrong and was set for second place when he stumbled on landing after jumping the last and paid the penalty.
He will have learnt a lot from that experience and Nicholls will no doubt have restored Highland Hunter’s confidence with plenty of schooling.
Castle Rushen can complete a hat-trick in the first division of the Watch Irish Racing On Racing TV Novices’ Hurdle.
This will be the first time Nicky Richards’ charge has run anywhere but Ayr and he has certainly looked a bright prospect there.
He trotted up by 26 lengths last time, but has a double penalty which means he has to give weight to all his rivals. It might be a test, but he can pass it with flying colours.
