Lucky 15 Tips for Bank Holiday Monday: Best racing multiple tips

Check out our Lucky 15 for today's bumper Bank Holiday racing programme.

What is a Lucky 15?

We thought it would be a good idea to explain exactly what a Lucky 15 means and how easy it is to place such a bet.

In short, the Lucky 15 is an acca including four elements, although all four bets don’t have to win to produce a profit/return. The selections are combined into one four-fold accumulator, trebles, doubles and individual singles.

So, the Lucky 15 can be summed up as follows: 1 accumulator, 4 trebles, 6 double, 4 singles = 15 bets

An each-way Lucky 15, as advised below, is therefore 30 bets, and you will get a return of some kind if only one horse places.

BINT HAVANA GREY - 2.35 Southwell

The 77-rated BINT HAVANA GREY gets 4lb off the previous winner Miss Mach One (79) here and, barring the introduction of a smart newcomer, should be able to break through at the fourth time of asking. The selection was favourite to beat Miss Mach at Windsor last time and was beaten less than two lengths having tried to make all the running. She'll be suited by a drop to the minimum trip on that evidence and can reverse the form.

COAL FIRE - 3.30 Cartmel

My Gift To You is going to be popular here but he's gone up 10lb for his last win at Worcester and could be worth taking on with Market Rasen scorer COAL FIRE. He's only gone up 4lb for last month's improved effort and there's bound to be more to come from Peter Bowen's seven-year-old.

JAMES McHENRY - 4.10 Ripon

JAMES McHENRY looks the each-way value against hat-trick hunting Kathab in the mile handicap at Ripon. Getting back over this trip on ground with a little juice in it looks likely to suit Ed Bethell's charge who bounced back from a low-key Royal Ascot run to finish third behind Sisyphus Strength at Newmarket last month. The winners went very close to following up off 6lb higher at York in the week and James McHenry can run off 1lb lower here. He also has first-time blinkers on which could eke out a bit more improvement.

BOWLAND PARK - 4.50 Epsom

BOWLAND PARK hasn't won since 2021 but he scored over this course and distance from a mark of 80 that season before following up off 4lb higher at Haydock on his next start. He's been lightly-raced this season but has definitely been showing a bit more sparkle than last year having slipped to a mark of 77. He sneaks in at the top of this 0-75 handicap and can put that proven back-class to good use.
