This afternoon's meeting at Lingfield has been abandoned, while Huntingdon and Sedgefield on Sunday have also been claimed by the weather
Lingfield Clerk of the course George Hill had called an 8am inspection due to the inclement weather but was forced to abandon the card due to "frost and severe wind chill".
There is little prospect of the temperature getting above freezing all day with snow showers also forecast.
Hill tweeted: "Friday's meeting ABANDONED due to overnight frost and severe wind chill. Temperatures not rising above freezing and snow showers due this afternoon."
Sunday's meeting at Sedgefield has been abandoned due to heavy snow.
An inspection was held at 7am on Friday morning ahead of the weekend's fixture, and the decision was made to call off the meeting.
The racecourse tweeted: "Unfortunately Sunday's meeting has been abandoned due to snow."
Huntingdon's meeting on the same day has been lost due to a frozen track.
Clerk of the course Jack Pryor inspected the course at 8am and reports the ground to be unraceable with little prospect of improvement.
He said: "We were looking more positive yesterday, we had three centimetres of snow and that was doing quite a nice job of insulating the track, but the frost has really got in the ground now and it is pretty solid.
"We've had temperatures of minus 5C and below for the last three or four nights and it's just got into the ground. With the temperatures as they are and snow forecast for today, there is no chance of improving in time to race."
