A small field of five are turned out for this seven-furlong nursery but you’d have to think there’s only three likely winners. Prestbury Park carries top-weight but is seemingly better over six furlongs having struggled over this trip the last twice and there’s no guarantee that he’ll enjoy the switch to the synthetics.
Lady Of Aran won well here last month and although being upped markedly in grade she gets to receive upwards of 10lb from the top two.
However, MOTOWN MICK has improved notably since tackling nurseries. He was raised 10lb after winning at both Chepstow and then Windsor (the second placed horse has since won) before just being touched off by a nose over the course and distance two weeks ago.
The pair pulled five lengths clear of the third that day so an 8lb rise may not be enough to stop Richard Hannon’s two-year old from gaining his third nursery victory with Timmy Murphy keeping the ride after getting on well with this horse in his last couple of outings.

Alqamar sets the standard in this Class 3 handicap over a mile and four furlongs having contested a Group 2 event at the Royal Ascot meeting.
He has been a beaten favourite in his last two starts but he could have more to offer now switched to the all-weather and comes from an in-form yard who enjoyed success at the Breeders’ Cup over the weekend.
Again he looks likely to be going off a short price and one I like at much bigger odds is the only mare in the field, ELYSIAN FIELDS.
She was second in a listed event on her seasonal reappearance but has found life tough since off an unmanageable mark.
She now drops back to her last winning mark and a return to this track where she has won twice from four starts could spark a revival. Her last visit here was a victorious one off a 1lb lower mark and it’d be no surprise to see her run into a place, and maybe even better, over a distance in which she’s done most her winning.
