He’s 9lb higher than for that first win in handicap company back in April but a recent 1/2 length defeat at Yarmouth after a short break may suggest that he’s ready to go in again with Roger Varian amongst the winners of late. NB - DINGO DOLLARS (4.20 Huntingdon)
This five-year old had a decent first season under rules for Alan King over hurdles. He managed two wins from his five starts, one of which was over this trip. He���ll stay further than this as seen when winning over the extended 3m1f last time out but this looks a good starting point for his chase debut. He’s a previous point-to-point winner and conditions will suit. A clear round of jumping will see him go close. (Best price 5/2)

TREBLE - MININGROCKS (5.30 Leicester)
Declan Carroll’s gelding has progressed over the summer and landed a hat-trick within the space of a month, all over this distance (at which he’s 7/19). Arrives here on the back of victory in a seller so obviously a touch more is required but a previous seventh of 15 in a class 3 handicap was a likeable effort and he’s been dropped a pound since. Now back down to class 5, he could run a big race if putting his right foot forward especially as he's unbeaten at this course. Ground/trip/class in favour and trainer has 25% strike-rate in the past two weeks. (Best price 8/1, each-way)
